Criteria

• Application Access Code: 24LHMS
• Applicant must be attending a public or private college or university in the State of
• Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate student in a social science or medical program such as:
  • Psychology
  • Counseling
  • WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) Medical Education program.
  • Other programs that prepare students for careers in the field of mental healthcare.

• Undergraduate applicants must be a Junior or Senior.

Preference to those applicants that:

• Applicant is a Montana resident.
• Intend to practice clinical psychology, counseling, or another direct mental health profession within Montana upon graduation.
• Demonstrate a personal connection to mental health struggles or other experiences that have deepened your understanding of the complexities of mental health and mental illness.
• Have a strong desire to provide clinical/counseling service upon graduation.

Interview

Scholarship finalists will be asked to participate in an interview before a recipient is named.
